Applications:
1. Ytterbium Oxide mainly used for fiber amplifier, fiber optic technologies, applied as a doping agent for garnet crystals in laser.
2. Ytterbium Oxide used for phosphors, optical glass additives, heat shield coating material and electronic industry;
3. Used for manufacturing computer magnetic bubble material, so that magnetic bubble storage has high speed, large capacity, small volume, multi-function and other characteristics;
4. Used to manufacture special alloys, dielectrics Ceramics and special glass. As the raw material of producing Ytterbium metal and compounds.
